After a long struggle we won Social Security Disability for a man who has been disabled since July 2021 due an onset of rectal cancer. We lost the initial hearing because the judge ignored critical evidence from three doctors. The Social Security Appeals council remanded the case due to this evidence that was ignored. On remand we had our second hearing. This time the judge asked for an opinion from an independent cancer doctor. She agreed with the claimant’s doctors that my client was totally disabled.
